Walpole has revealed the participants selected for the 2017 Brands of Tomorrow programme, which offers emerging British talent 12 months of workshops and one-to-one mentorship from senior executives heading up some of Britain’s finest luxury brands, including Oliver Sweeney, Agent Provocateur, Harrods and Thomas Pink.

The selected brands were announced on Tuesday 24 January at London’s Hotel Café Royal and include fashion design studio Agi & Sam, young British footwear brand Camilla Elphick and ready-to-wear, bags and jewellery brand Hillier Bartley.

"The Walpole Brands of Tomorrow programme continues to go from strength-to-strength and now in its 10th year the class of 2017 is as strong and exciting as ever,” said Walpole CEO Michelle Emmerson.

“This programme enables Walpole and its members to play a vital and proactive role in supporting the next generation of talent and emerging luxury brands. We are incredibly proud of this initiative and the many brands who have taken part over the past decade.”

The 2017 Brands of Tomorrow are Agi & Sam, Capstar, Helen Amy Murray, Tessa Packard, Alexandra Llewellyn, Dexter & Duke, Hillier Bartley, The New Craftsmen, Camilla Elphick, Exmoor Caviar, Rory Dobner and Troubadour Goods.

Each brand is considered to have the potential to become a leader in their respective field, which range from fashion to design to luxury services and gourmet food.

Among selected accessories brands are Troubadour Goods, a London-based design house specialising in handcrafted bags made from the finest materials; Tessa Packard, a fine jeweller who has become internationally recognised for her eclectic bi-annual collections that celebrate individuality, storytelling and unique design; and British born footwear brand Duke & Dexter, which specialises in men’s loafers.
