The new store will measure 10,000 sqft. and be located in the St David's shopping centre in Cardiff, on Grand Arcade's upper level. It will open in late summer and is taking the majority of a former H&M store. H&M has instead moved into a 46,000 sqft. store across the mall.

The new Victoria's Secret store will sell its signature lingerie and sleepwear collections, exclusive fragrances and body care. It will also feature the brand's Victoria's Secret PINK and Victoria's Secret Sport lines.

Speaking on behalf of the St David's Partnership, a joint venture between Land Securities and intu, Colin Flinn, regional director at intu, said: "We are thrilled to welcome Victoria's Secret, adding to our strong line up of international brands including our most recent addition Michael Kors. The signing of Victoria's Secret at St David's reinforces the centre's position as the leading retail destination in Wales, and as one of the most in-demand locations in the UK.  The new store will complement the line up on the Grand Arcade, which also includes the largest H&M in the UK."

St David's already has the largest John Lewis store outside of London, as well as fashion brands including H&M, Primark, New Look and River Island. Michael Kors opened a store at the centre this month.
