The news came as it unveiled its campaign, which taps into the current love of all things animated.
The company unveiled a 90-second commercial called Get More Out of Giving fearing a young woman handing out hundreds of gifts on Christmas Eve, meeting Father Christmas then waking up with her family on Christmas Day.
The big budget commercial was projected onto the side of London’s County Hall for the launch event while the London Eye was turned pink. The ad has currently logged almost 40,000 views on YouTube.
It will air on TV for the first time during ITV's X Factor on Saturday, the show that has been seen as a key vehicle through which to unveil seasonal campaigns in previous years.
