Vera Wang and Zales launch home engagement ring try-on service
American bridal designer Vera Wang and Signet Jewelers-owned jewelry retailer Zales are expanding their partnership with the introduction of the Vera Wang Love home try-on program, allowing customers to try on a customized engagement ring without leaving the house.
Through the new service, customers can create a customized engagement ring on Zales.com using the Vera Wang Love online design tool, then have the prototype sent to any U.S. address so that they can try it on.
With the online design tool, customers can mix and match center settings and mountings for up to nine ring combinations. The home try-on kit, which is available for a refundable deposit of $200, includes three center stone settings, three ring mountings, and two bands in rose and gold tones.
To help customers make the right choice, the kit also comes with a ring sizer and insert cards with the program’s details. Customers can keep the kit and try on the rings for seven days before sending it back to Zales.
“Zales and Vera Wang are always the closest of partners when it comes to introducing cutting-edge technology and fashion innovation. We're thrilled about launching the new Vera Wang Love Home Try-On Program with her,” commented Zales president Jamie Singleton in a release. "We're one of the first in the fine jewelry industry to introduce a revolutionary service like this, further showcasing our stance that technology is the future of shopping.”
“I'm thrilled that now customers will be able to experience my designs and make a ring that speaks to them and their love,” added Wang. “I've always been a huge fan of convenience, creativity, and personalization. This service allows customers to do both to find their perfect ring.”
Customers can access the Vera Wang home try-on program via the Zales e-commerce site starting October 27.
