After becoming part of the Perceva investment fund in summer 2015, French lingerie and swimwear group Vanity Fair Brands Europe has been harbouring new ambitions. The new owner appointed a President, Joëlle Pellegrin, who in the last few months has in turn hired her own aides-de-camp to fulfil the expansion project for the brand portfolio consisting of Lou, Vanity Fair, Variance, Bestform and Cherry Beach.

Four positions have thus been recently filled, or re-filled. First of all, Miguel Santoro was appointed CFO of VFB Europe. Before joining the Parisian lingerie group, Santoro worked at La Perla as CFO for the Spanish and French businesses, then as Group Financial Controller, based at the label's Italian headquarters. In 2014 he took over the same position for the European division of Michael Kors

Santoro's arrival has coincided with that of a new Human Resources and Business Controlling Director, Philippe Natrella. After taking charge of financial controlling at the Dim Branded Apparel group, he too joined La Perla in 2012 as CFO and Human Resources Director for the French and Benelux subsidiaries.

Also, VFB Europe has appointed its first Digital Director, Astrid Lucas, tasked with driving the web development policy of the group's brands. Lucas previously worked for Chantal Thomass and Dim, whose websites she launched in 2009 and 2011.

The last appointment announced by the lingerie group is that of Pierre Garnier as International Sales Director. The new manager enjoyed a sales career in sports apparel at Reebok, Nike and Wolverine, before joining Pentland in 2003. At Pentland he first worked as France/Benelux General Manager, then as EMEA South Vice-President and finally as the group's Global Creative Vice-President from 2010.
