UK's Self-Portrait announces NYFW presentation

Fashion brand Self-Portrait has had plenty of success in London since it was started by Central St Martins graduate Han Chong in 2013.

Now the label is targeting the American market with a presentation at New York Fashion Week. It will take place on September 12th and Self-Portrait has enlisted stylist Vanessa Reid and creative director/ producer, Nian Fish, for the show.

“We are a young brand and have been given a lot of opportunity to expand in America so this couldn't be a more perfect time to showcase during New York Fashion Week. Self-Portrait is known for its feminine yet edgy aesthetic and we feel that it compliments the fast-paced energy that New York has to offer while reflecting the energy of the Self-Portrait girl. Bringing London's mix of the traditional and new together with New York's modernity and relentless energy will give Self-Portrait the chance to showcase something it has never done before and we are thrilled to be able to be a part of this,” said Chong.

Self-Portrait is sold in retailers including Selfridges, Net-A-Porter, Matches, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Galeries Lafayette Harvey Nichols and Dover Street Market.
