UK's Dot to Dot show to launch new area

The next edition of British kidswear show Dot to Dot will take place on January 31 - February 1 at Soho's Vinyl Factory.

It will be the 5th edition of the show and it will feature a new section, Spark, which will concentrate on smaller designers and producers chosen for "an ability to induce tears of joy and elation." There will be a total of about 30 labels at Dot to Dot, both British and global.

Carly Gledhill and Nicole Frobusch, Dot to Dot's co-founders, said: "Offering new designers and start-ups the possibility to present their work and get feedback from the industry is the crux of our philosophy. Spark is our way of reaching out to the design community with an affordable space for that to become a reality as trade shows are often difficult financially at the very beginning for fledgling creatives."
