Triumph has announced the launch of a dedicated online shop for its cotton underwear brand Sloggi. This is the first time the Swiss brand has its own online store, which has been developed by Arvato SCM Solutions.

The online platform has been launched simultaneously in four countries and its responsive design ensures it can be used on different devices.

The launch supports Sloggi’s repositioning as a standalone brand and reinforces Triumph’s new distribution strategy.

In addition to the responsive design, Arvato added functionalities such as automatic gender-specific content control.

The development of the online store was based on the same platform as Triumph, helping reduce development time to three and a half months, according to Arvato.

"The new sloggi online shop has gone live in our most important sloggi markets Germany, UK, Austria and France, within less than three and a half months," says Tilman Galler, Head of E-Commerce at Triumph.

"This extremely short project lead time was only possible due to smooth project management and an exceptional cooperation between all involved parties."

By the end of the year, further online stores will be launched in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Poland, Denmark, Sweden and Belgium.

The Swiss lingerie specialist is one of the world’s largest providers of intimate apparel with 49 subsidiaries supplying 120 markets.
