This October sees the launch of a new Topshop Reclaim collection, a capsule range made from discarded materials such a surplus stock or production off-cuts.

Rebellious ‘90s influences shape the fifth Reclaim collection, with call-to-action slogans and bold logos giving t-shirts a dissident spirit while mixed fabrics and patchwork denim embrace a do-it-yourself energy.

The collection also includes romantic lingerie slips, camisoles and cropped denim jackets.

The first Topshop Reclaim edit was introduced in 2012 in collaboration with 'Reclaim to Wear', a pioneering company launched in 1997 by Orsola de Castro and Filippo Ricci. Since then, Topshop has regularly launched collections made from excess materials as a solution to the challenge of textile waste.

Jacqui Markham, Global Design Director at Topshop, comments: “Topshop Reclaim collections offer a progressive solution for excess material from Topshop's previous collections. It is a priority for us to minimise textile waste across all of our product categories, while also creating on-trend designs and wardrobe essentials in true Topshop aesthetic."

The fashion collection launches online on October 11 and will be available in select stores in the UK, US, the Netherlands and Hong Kong from the same month.
