Topshop launches Molly Goddard SS17 runway shoe collection

British designer and winner of the 2016 British Emerging Talent award Molly Goddard has partnered with Topshop to celebrate the launch of her debut shoe collection and make the designs more widely available.

Launching on 23 January 2017, the Molly Goddard x Topshop capsule collection features styles first seen on the runway at the Molly Goddard SS17 show during London Fashion Week in September.

The 8-piece range comprises bold, block colour styles in soft leather and suede, as well as calf and knee-length boots, wrap-detail sandals and ankle strap flats in vivid orange and silver hues or neutral black and navy shades.

"I am really excited to be working with Topshop,” said the designer. “It's the first time that we've been able to make our own shoes for a show and I liked experimenting with the different colours and leathers. The shoes really pulled the collection together and they've been a nice way to introduce the brand to a wider audience.”

The London-born fashion designer specialises in traditional hand-craft techniques such as hand pleating, smocking and crocheting, and her apparel collections are available at some of the world’s most prestigious stockists including Dover Street Market, Trading Museum Comme des Garcons, I.T and Browns.

The Topshop footwear capsule collection will be available globally on the e-commerce platform and in selected stores.
