Global retailers Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein are set to make their debut in Leeds with stores at the £165 million Victoria Gate development, announced Hammerson on Tuesday.
Tommy Hilfiger will bring its premium American inspired clothing to a 253 sq mt space on the shopping centre’s ground floor, while Calvin Klein will take a 131 sq mt unit on the ground floor to showcase its Underwear range.
Robin Dobson, Director Retail Development at Hammerson, said: “Attracting leading global retailers of the calibre of both Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein is testament to Victoria Gate and its potential to create the North’s best in class retail, leisure and dining destination when it launches later this year.”
The shopping centre is set to become a leading retail destination in Leeds, bringing new brands to the city for the first time. These include John Lewis, which will become an anchor tenant, Gant, Hackett, Anthropologie, Cos, & Other Stories and fine dining international restaurant group, D&D.
In total, Victoria Gate is expected to accommodate some 42,000 sq mts of retail and leisure space, and create 1,000 retail employment opportunities.
