The Italian designer, originally from Mantua, took over the creative direction of Tod’s menswear collections in 2014. Incontri will leave the role on June 30.

The news was confirmed by a statement from the group in which chairman and CEO Diego Della Valle thanked the designer for his valuable contribution to the brand’s menswear collections over the past few years.

“It has been an honour for me to be part of this great family,” said Incontri in a statement. “Tod’s has been a school and an important experience in my development. I thank Diego and Andrew Della Valle for the support and enthusiasm they have always given me”.

The news broke just a few days after the end of Milan Fashion Week Men's, at which the brand’s summer 2020 collection was presented in the splendid setting of the Villa Necchi Campiglio, a fine example of the grand Milanese architecture of the 1930s, close to the brand’s Milan headquarters.
