The North Face launches campaign to get people outdoors and active
VF Corp’s outdoor brand The North Face has launched a European campaign called Discover Your Trail. It’s designed to “encourage everyone to get out and explore the trails around them - because the trail is for everyone, no matter which trail you follow or how you follow it”.
It has partnered with Strava — the internet service for tracking physical exercise that incorporates social network features — to encourage walkers, runners, and hikers to reach 100km. The campaign runs until April 10.
Product-wise, it features three collections, each providing the gear needed to get out on the trail, including Hike, Flight and Trail Running.
The Hike collection is designed to illuminate the universal benefits of finding your own trail and debuts the revamped VectivFastpack Mid Futurelight shoe. That’s The North Face’s most cushioned hiking boot.
Flight Series encompasses some of the label’s most technical pieces, "enabling athletes and newbies alike to push themselves in the depths of nature”. The collection includes new colourways of the bestselling Lightriser Wind Jacket, the Flight Vectiv, and weightless tank. The pieces “boast a high level of breathability and durability whilst regulating body temperature for the coldest days and the rockiest of trails”.
And the Trail Running collection “honours trail runners at their best”.
