The United States Olympic Committee on Wednesday debuted the Polo Ralph Lauren signature US Olympic and Paralympic Closing Ceremony parade uniforms for the Rio 2016 Games.
11-time Olympic medalist Ryan Lochte, Olympic silver medalist Haley Anderson and Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs unveiled the men’s and women’s uniforms during a fashion segment on NBC’s Today Show. The uniforms feature a Pony-emblazoned button-down shirt worn over a striped t-shirt and paired with chino shorts. Classic boat shoes and striped cotton bracelets complete the nautical look and capture a patriotic, sporty element.
Ralph Lauren was named the official outfitter of the US Olympic and Paralympic Teams in 2012 before the Olympic games in London. The American fashion label designed the US uniforms for the Winter Games in Sochi in 2014 and continues the partnership to this year.
The Official Polo Ralph Lauren Team USA Closing Ceremony Uniform is available now on the Ralph Lauren website and the Polo Ralph Lauren Team USA Collection will be available in May in select Ralph Lauren and Polo Ralph Lauren retail stores, Ralphlauren.com, select U.S. department stores and on the Team USA website.
