The Lexicon Bracknell to open in September, signs more top brands

Boots and footwear retailer Office have joined the retail line-up at The Lexicon Bracknell. The £240m shopping destination, which opens in September, is now 76% pre-let.

Boots has chosen the Bracknell development for a 19,500 sq ft two-floor flagship store that will have a significant focus on beauty. A wide range of premium brands including No 7, Estée Lauder, Clinique, Liz Earle, Smashbox, Bare Minerals and Benefit will be available to customers, as well as consultation rooms for vaccinations and other pharmacy services. The new store will also house Boots’ Opticians and Hearingcare practices.

Additionally, high-street fashion footwear specialist Office has taken a 4,803 sq ft unit on Bracaan Walk, joining a host of fashion retailers including River Island, Foot Locker, M&S, Next, Topshop, Primark and New Look.
Toy retailer The Entertainer will also open a shop at The Lexicon.

“These three new signings will further boost The Lexicon’s impressive retail line up. The introduction of these new brands will help to transform the town centre, creating an exciting new shopping and leisure destination for the region,” said Richard Poyser, Retail Leasing Manager for Legal & General.

The regeneration project will provide a new social and cultural heart for Bracknell town centre when it opens later this year.  The Lexicon will more than double the square footage of the current retail offer, taking the total to one million sq ft, including the existing, neighbouring Princess Square shopping centre.
