The Body Shop has recently appointed Caroline Le Roch as managing director Europe. Formerly president of the Americas region for Belgian chocolatier Godiva, Le Roch succeeds Qasar Qayyum, a veteran at The Body Shop, now named global head of franchising.

Before taking charge of the Americas for Godiva, Le Roch held a number of senior commercial and regional management roles in North America, Australia, Switzerland and the Middle East for L'Occitane en Provence and, before that, in Latin America for Beauté Prestige International.

Le Roch and Qayyum will both report to David Boynton, CEO of The Body Shop. In a press release, Boynton stated that “as we continue to stimulate growth thanks to our omni-channel strategy, and to seize new opportunities with our partners around the world, I am happy to announce two key new appointments. Caroline Le Roch is the right person to lead our business in Europe, and build on her track record of sustainable digital and retail growth for international brands. Qasar Qayyum has gained extensive experience with our franchise partners in EMEA and Latin America.”

The Body Shop, owned by Brazilian group Natura & Co. alongside Aesop, Avon and Natura, is a B Corp-certified group and operates 2,500 stores in over 80 countries.
