Sancho joined Temperley in December 2013 as SVP Global Sales, and rose to the position of president in November 2015. In her new role, she will continue to actively drive the company’s vision and strategy working closely with the founder and creative director Alice Temperley.

"My job is to think always about the future of our company and how to move it forward. Patricia and I have a strong personal bond and share a vision for the future of Temperley London,” said the designer.

Alice Temperley launched the brand in 2000, and remains founder and creative director of the independent brand as it enters its 17th year of business. Her collections are known for her bohemian and romantic dresses which combine intricate embellishments with modern twists, as well as her ethereal bridal styles.

Temperley London has five standalone stores in the UK and globally, including a flagship on Bruton Street in Mayfair, a dedicated bridal boutique in Colville Mews in Notting Hill and stores in Dubai and Qatar.

The lines are also distributed in over 30 countries across more than 150 wholesale accounts such as Lane Crawford, Selfridges, Le Bon Marche, Harrods, Liberty, Matches.com, Net-a-Porter.com and Moda Operandi.

Alice Temperley said the appointment of Patricia Sancho puts all the pieces in place to position the business for continued growth.
