Tailored Brands hires Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Innovation Officer

Tailored Brands announced on Wednesday the appointment of Frank Hamlin as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer and Boris Sherman as Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation Officer. The appointments are intended to strengthen the company’s omni-channel marketing and technology strategies.

Hamlin joins Tailored Brands from GameStop, where he most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer. In this role, he oversaw the brand portfolio, loyalty, CRM and global omni-channel marketing strategy.
 
Prior to GameStop, Hamlin served EVP and GM of Marketing and E-commerce for Guitar Center.

Sherman most recently served as SVP of Omni-channel Technology at L Brands and oversaw all customer-facing digital, store, credit and call center technologies for the company. Before joining L Brands, he served as VP, Information Technology at OfficeMax and Managing Director and Chief Architect at United Airlines.
 
Hamlin will report CEO Doug Ewert and Sherman will report to President and COO Bruce Thorn. Both will serve on the company’s executive management committee.
