This summer 2019 will see Tag Heuer move from a shop-in-shop within Lunn’s Jewellers  at Queen’s Arcade to a standalone unit, fitted to complement the luxury Swiss watchmaker’s design codes.

With interiors in shades of pale and dark grey in smooth and perforated materials, making a reference to watch mechanisms, the store will stock an extensive range of Tag Heuer watches including the Tag Heuer Carrera Heuer 01, the iconic Monaco and other Tag Heuer special editions.

“We are very proud to be partnering with Lunn’s to be opening a new Tag Heuer Boutique in Ireland in the Queen’s Arcade in Belfast,” said Rob Diver, managing director of Tag Heuer Europe.

The opening will involve a £400,000 investment by Lunn’s Jewellers, the family-run company which owns Queen’s Arcade. The luxury firm has also applied for planning permission for a £2m refurbishment of the historic Victorian Arcade.

Peter Lunn, chairman of Lunn’s Jewellers, said: “This announcement marks our latest investment into the redevelopment of Queen’s Arcade and is a further vote of confidence in Belfast as an attractive retail destination with huge potential to attract high end customers. ... for [Tag Heuer] to choose to expand its shop-in-shop presence here to a standalone Tag Heuer boutique is a huge endorsement for the city.”
