Sweyn Forkbeard opens first physical grooming location

Men’s grooming brand Sweyn Forkbeard has launched its first bricks-and-mortar grooming boutique in London’s Camden Market.

The 400 sq ft store features a Barber Shop where a team of grooming experts can provide haircuts, wet shaves and other and other grooming services while demonstrating the brand’s organic products.

The barber shop is inspired by the 1900s, with customised barber chairs and displays of antiques over 120 years old. Sweyn Forkbeard will donate a percentage of its profits to local charity Camden Giving.

George Garcia, founder of Sweyn Forkbeard, commented: “Following continued success with our three product shops in London, two of which are already in Camden, it makes sense for us to extend our presence here with an expanded bricks and mortar offering for Londoners.

“After selling barber products within our stores and at barber shows over the last five years, it is a natural step to open a fully-fledged barber shop, enabling us to apply our products directly to Camden Market’s consumers.”

Maggie Milosavljevic, LabTech’s retail commercial director, added: “Following our evolving offer within Camden Market, this is a great opportunity to be adding Sweyn Forkbeard to our retail portfolio. We are pleased to have secured the unique brand’s debut barber shop site, and we are confident the new Sweyn Forkbeard experience will be a hit with our local customer base.”
