Though there is an abundance of Swedish stores in London, most of them - H&M, & Other Stories, Cos, Monki and Cheap Monday - are owned by the H&M Group. Now the competition is entering the UK market, as Swedish fast fashion company Lindex has opened its first flagship store in the Westfield Stratford shopping centre in east London.

CEO Ingvar Larsson says: "Finally, we've opened our first store in London! We've been preparing for this day for a long time and I'm very proud. The new shop features our new store concept and looks great; it's really offers a world class fashion experience. I'm so happy that we get to meet all our new customers who want to take part of our inspiring, well-priced fashion."

The new shop features Lindex' spring collection, which combines classic and modern looks with boho chic styles. The boutique is also the first to feature Lindex' new store concept, which reflects the Scandinavian feel of the brand and is built on simplicity and sustainable design.

The new store is open now.
