Supreme and Clarks give the Wallabee a new look

Published
Oct 22, 2019

British footwear firm Clarks has worked together with cult streetwear label Supreme to launch a custom version of its signature Wallabee lace-up shoe.

Supreme

Made exclusively for Supreme, the collaboration comes in four colourways, including a deep purple shade, black, and traditional maple, and camo print. The shoes retain their moccasin construction and structural silhouette, whilst trading the classic suede upper for a water and stain resistant Gore-Tex upper and lightweight Vibram sole.

This is not the first time the two brands have teamed up on a redesigned footwear style. Earlier this year, the American brand and British label unveiled four other iterations of the Wallabee shoe, featuring an all-over paisley bandana print in four shades.

In fact, Supreme has had its hand in several Clarks redesigns, helping give the 194-year old shoe company a new meaning among streetwear consumers. In addition to the Wallabee, the skateboarding brand has reinvented the Weaver, the Desert Boot and Desert Mali.

The latest outcome of their ongoing collaboration is set to launch in Supreme stores in New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and online on 24 October. The range will also be available in Japan from 26 October.
