Brink will oversee Cherokee's financial functions of accounting, forecasting and investor relations. He will report directly to the company's CEO Henry Stupp.

Stupp said, "As we look towards our next phase of growth, [Brink's] track record of scaling global brands, along with his extensive M&A experience, will prove invaluable."

Brink has worked as CFO for public and private apparel companies including eleven years at Quiksilver, Inc. and over seven years at NYDJ Apparel, LLC. He most recently was the CFO/COO at Raj Swim.

Brink has a track record of developing the financial operations for companies during high growth periods. He doubled revenues for NYDJ in the seven and a half years he was its EVP and CFO/COO. While he was CFO at Quiksilver, the company's revenue grew from $200 million to over $2.4 billion.

Outgoing CFO Boling had been Cherokee Global Brands' CFO for five years, and is leaving to pursue other career opportunities. Brink will work closely with him over the next month so he is fully up to speed for the new year when Boling will officially leave.

Boling will exit January 31, 2018, and Brink's appointment will become effective January 2, 2018.

Cherokee Global Brands manages a portfolio that includes the Cherokee brand, Carole Little, Tony Hawk Signature Apparel and Hawk Brands, Liz Lange and Sideout. It is distributed in 110 countries at 12,000 retail outlets, as well as through digital platforms.
