The label's signature style is using woven fabrics from names including Liberty and Gainsborough, with a focus on texture and print for its fashion-meets-classic pieces.

The opening on Dorchester Place in Connaught Village seems like a good fit for the brand with the neighbourhood — which is part of the Hyde Park Estate — having a reputation as one of London’s discovery destinations with a carefully chosen mix of high-end indie labels.

The area is owned by the Church Commissioners for England and the landlord also announced that London-based interior design studio and homewares retailer Faeger is opening on the same street while boutique wine and spirits merchant Connaught Cellars is relocating to a bigger retail space on Connaught Street.

Charlotte Moss, Senior Asset Manager, Church Commissioners, said: “Sprezzatura and Faeger each offers a bespoke, best-in-class service which will complement our existing mix of independent and unique retailers.”

Ellie Grimes, part of the Central London Retail team at Colliers International, which let the units on behalf of The Church Commissioners added: “Connaught Village is one of London’s hidden gems, renowned for its carefully curated luxurious tenant mix. No two types of occupier are the same. Therefore we really have to ensure that we identify the right brands to take space here which will help drive footfall to the area.”
