Smashbox x Vlada Haggerty launch Petal Metal collection

Estée Lauder's Smashbox has collaborated with makeup artist Vlada Haggerty on a new sixteen-piece rose gold-themed capsule or face, eyes, lips and body, called the Petal Metal collection.

In an official statement, Smashbox explains, "We transformed fan favorites and [our] formulas to create a rose goldmine for highlighting." The company calls the product "luxe, feminine, and infused with the signature Smashbox edge."

The sixteen-piece collection focuses on millennial favorite rose gold. Smashbox explains it was "designed to complement every skin tone" by infusing "rose gold tones into glow-enhancing formulas."

Haggerty is a Ukranian-born makeup artist and Instagram star with 800,000 followers. She is also Smashbox's first ever lip-editor-in-chief. She co-created the capsule which is inspired by her famous lip drip art.

She introduced the Petal Metal drops on her Instagram explaining, "It's a unique product that's a blinding liquid highlighter, lip topper and glitter base. Can be worn as an eyeshadow alone or as a topper."

Petal Metal is being sold in limited-edition packaging, which features Haggerty's macro photography.

The Venice Smashbox store is the only brick and mortar location that currently has the collection. Smashbox x Vlada Haggerty's Petal Metal officially launches April 13th in Sephora and Ulta stores, and online through Smashbox's e-commerce site.
