Skincare brand Silk Therapeutics launches new products via Harrods

Boston-based Silk Therapeutics has announced it has expanded its partnership with Harrods to introduce three new products to UK consumers.

The clean skincare line, available in the UK exclusively via Harrods, said the expanded collection includes products made with its patented Activated Silk technology, which works with the skin’s collage to promote a youthful appearance.

The new ultra-hydrating Body Enrich moisturiser, Complete Gel Cleanser and Nurture+ daily moisturiser are made with no more than 12 ingredients per formulation. And according to the US brand founded by silk experts Gregory Altman and Rebecca Lacouture, the formulas do not contain synthetic chemicals commonly found in personal care products.

Commenting on the expanded launch with Harrods, Rebecca Lacouture, Silk Therapeutics co-founder, president and COO, said: "We remain immensely grateful for this partnership with Harrods — proof that with science, nature and intent, we can create skincare products that are good for the skin, body and world without compromise.”

Silk Therapeutics launched at Harrods last year, joining the lineup of luxury brands available at the high-end department store in London’s Knightsbridge.
