Six finalists announced for the Woolmark Prize

On February 16, The Woolmark Company will present the results of its major international competition during London Fashion Week. Six finalists were selected from 70 designers who participated the past 12 months in 16 local competitions.

Competing for the prize are Dion Lee, Australia; Ban Xiao Xue, China; Christian Wijnants, Belgium; Pankaj and Nidhi, India; DressedUndressed, Japan; and Sophie Theallet, U.S. Their creations made of wool will be presented during a runway show organized by the British Fashion Council.

The winner will receive a check for 100,000 Australian dollars (77,700 euros). The jury consists of ten design professionals and celebrities, including Donatella Versace, Diane Von Furstenberg and Victoria Beckham.
