Sisley recruits Erin Doherty as communications director
French cosmetics brand Sisley has announced the arrival of Erin Doherty as global communications director. The journalist has been at the head of Elle magazine for five years.

Doherty started her career at Elle, before becoming fashion and beauty editor-in-chief, remaining in the position for six years. Doherty then joined the Condé Nast group where she worked as editor-in-chief of Glamour magazine. In 2017 she returned to Elle's editorial staff to become its director.
"Erin and Sisley's paths have crossed on many occasions, giving the d'Ornano family the opportunity to share and collaborate with her. We are very pleased with her arrival," said Christine d'Ornano, Sisley's deputy CEO.
The prestige French brand, which achieves 90% of its sales internationally, has a network of 7,694 points of sale around the world including selective distribution, spas and Sisley boutiques. The company was founded in 1976 and employs more than 4,500 people, including a thousand in France.
