Soul/hip-hop artist Lauryn Hill has teamed with American outdoor apparel brand Woolrich to design a capsule collection, also starring in the brand's autumn/winter 2018 images, which marks the singer's first major fashion campaign.

Hill, best-known for her role as a member of Fugees band and her critically acclaimed solo album "The Miseducation Lauryn Hill", customized a range of statement pieces for the label as part of the creative collaboration, including the Silverton Coat and the Arctic Parka, which feature screen-prints with collages of Hill and her eponymous album cover.

The singer's capsule collection will be available in Woolrich stores and retailers in North America and Europe in the coming months.

The complementary campaign — shot by by Jack Davison and titled "American Soul Since 1830" — sees Hill wearing her custom jackets and statement pieces which also feature bold text and embellished appliqués on shoulders and sleeves.

An accompanying campaign video was also released by Woolrich today, which introduces Hill as the face of its autumn/winter 2018 collection, and sees Hill walking along neighborhood streets and singing in the Harlem theater where she shot the video for "Doo Wop (That Thing)" 20 years ago in 1998 (via Vogue UK).
