Thierry Petit, co-founder of ShowroomPrivé, had announced his intention to resign as director as of December 1. François de Castelnau, who joined the structure three years ago was chosen to take his place until the next general meeting, which is expected to be held on June 21, 2023.

"Thanks to his extensive experience in the sector and his very good knowledge of the company, he will be able to contribute fully, as a director, to the group's strategy," said SRP Group CEO David Dayan. Before joining ShowroomPrivé, de Castelnau was administrative and financial director of the Philippe Ginestet group, owner of Tati, Besson and Gifi. Prior to that he was financial director of the Ermewa group, dealing in tankers and railcar rentals.

Showroomprivé's turnover fell by 13.9% in the first nine months of the year, to 450.1 million euros. A figure that is nonetheless 5.4% higher than those of the same period in 2019. In 2021, after three loss-making years before the health crisis, the group managed to post 273 million euros in profits and 23.8 million euros in revenues (+3.8%).
