ShowroomPrivé: sales up 23% in first quarter

The event sales website has announced a revenue of €117.3 million in the 1st quarter, closed at the end of March, equivalent to a 23% growth. Mobile sales accounted for 56% of the total, compared to 46% a year earlier.

In the quarter, ShowroomPrivé's revenue per buyer grew by 9%, up to €81.8, supported by an increase in the number of orders per buyer, which rose to 2.2 orders (+3%), and a rise in the average basket to €36.5 (+5%).

In the period, the website featured 1.3 million buyers, and at the end of March it reached 25 million members, up by 900,000. The company operates in nine countries and for the current fiscal year it is aiming for a revenue of between €525 and €535 million (a 19-25% rise).

In 2015 ShowroomPrivé generated €605 million in business volume, and a revenue of €443 million (+27%). It was a record result, allowing EBITDA to reach €24 million, equivalent to a 5.4% margin, up 92 points.
