Shop Direct in executive board reshuffle

Shop Direct, the company behind online retailers including Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com, has revamped its executive team with an external hire, an internal promotion and new roles for two of its directors.
Tommy Jordan has been hired as new CEO of Shop Direct’s financial services to succeed Neil Chandler, who has held the role since 2015. Chandler will now focus on business development and innovation.
Jordan has more than 15 years of experience in the consumer finance sector, having held senior positions at companies including Wonga, Travelex and Lloyds Banking Group.
Meanwhile, Sarah Willett, currently people director, has been promoted to group people director. In this role, she will oversee the group’s progressive approach to people management as it continues to invest efforts to attract and retain talent. Willett will replace Jacqui Humphries, who is stepping down from her executive duties to become a non-executive director.
Mark McMenemy, former group finance director, will also join the board as a non-executive director.

One of the UK’s largest online retailers, Shop Direct’s stable of brands includes VeryExclusive.co.uk, Littlewoods.com and Littlewoods.ie, which generate annual sales of £1.96bn. The company says more than 1.4m people visit its websites every day.
