The joint-venture, which will begin activity in January 2014, will distribute Shiseido products across the seven Middle Eastern countries: Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Japanese company Shiseido decided to take back control of its activity in the region due to high growth potential. The group estimates that the Middle Eastern cosmetics market could be worth 1.5 billion dollars.
