Sephora: Thomas Haupt (ex-Louis Vuitton) appointed general manager Canada
Sephora Canada has just appointed Thomas Haupt as its new general manager. Prior to joining LVMH's selective fragrance retailer, Thomas Haupt had already been officiating at the French luxury group since 2016, serving as senior vice president of Louis Vuitton in the United States since January 2019.
Thomas Haupt also worked from 2015 to 2016 as Vice President USA of the fashion brand Vince, which became known for its casual chic style inspired by the American West Coast. Before that he worked at Ermenegildo Zegna and Gap.
Thomas Haupt succeeds Gregory Bruyer, who has held the executive position at Sephora Canada for the past two and a half years and is now serving as global operations director for the holistic beauty brand Rituals. Thomas Haupt will work under the direction of Jean-Andre Rougeot, president and CEO of Sephora Americas.
Thomas Haupt's arrival as head of Sephora Canada coincides with the opening of Sephora's 100th store in Canada. In North America, Sephora has approximately 500 stores.
