Scoop x Pure combo show to happen in September, with menswear added in

Published
Apr 29, 2021

Trade show organisers are continuing to reschedule key shows and Hyve Group has announced a combo show in September. It will stage Scoop X Pure and sourcing show Pure Origin at the Old Truman Brewery in London on September 7-9, “bringing the entire fashion supply chain under one roof” and adding menswear too.

Pure London

Curated by Scoop founder and MD Karen Radley, Scoop X Pure “will showcase the ‘best in show’, highlighting the most exciting collections and labels across the Scoop and Pure London rosters,” we’re told.

It’s designed to offer “a ‘department store’ atmosphere” and will include both emerging and established UK and international fashion labels across both women’s and menswear, alongside “a selected edit of home and lifestyle products”.

The company said it had listened to exhibitor and retailer feedback, and decided to move away from Scoop and Pure London’s traditional weekend datelines “for this season only” (the new event happens from Tuesday to Thursday).

It said the mid-week dateline ties in with retailers’ visits to Shoreditch-based showrooms, “allowing them to return to their shops in time for busy weekend peak periods”.

It also allows those that show at international events, including Who’s Next in Paris, to join the Scoop X Pure line-up.

Radley said that “relocating to the former home of Jacket Required is a perfect way to welcome menswear labels to Scoop”.

And Pure London Event Director, Gloria Sandrucci added: “With wider aisles and more floorspace, we will be able to create an open environment in which social distancing is possible, whilst capturing the character of Scoop X Pure.”
