The management team reshuffle continues at Salvatore Ferragamo, as the Florentine fashion label announced the appointment of Ugo Giorcelli as CFO. Giorcelli will start in his new role on 15th March 2017, directly after the publication of the group's annual results.

He is an experienced international manager, and comes from Italian hearing aid manufacturer Amplifon, where he has held the post of CFO since 2007.

He will take over from Ernesto Greco in a mutually agreed changeover, Ferragamo has stated.

Salvatore Ferragamo's current CFO joined the group in 2007, and notably engineered its stock exchange listing in 2011.

Since last August, the fashion label has been managed by Eraldo Poletto, who resigned as General Manager of Italian leather goods manufacturer Furla to succeed Michele Norsa at Ferragamo. The fashion label has entirely restructured its management team since then, with the additional departure of Deputy General Manager Sofia Ciucchi.
