Saint Laurent to show its menswear in Berlin in June
After returning to Paris Fashion Week in January, Saint Laurent is resuming its journey around the world with its next men's show. This time the brand is heading to Berlin, with a show on June 12, as confirmed by the house owned by luxury group Kering.
Saint Laurent has not revealed much, except that Anthony Vaccarello will be presenting his men's collection for Spring/Summer 2024. Probably inspired by the underground scene of the German capital, like Bottega Veneta who put on a show in Berlin in April 2021 in the famous Berghain nightclub.
One thing is for sure, once again the luxury label is showing outside the calendar, June 12 being the day before the opening of Milan's Men's Fashion Week, also well before the Paris Fashion Week, scheduled for June 20 to 25. The Berlin Fashion Week, will take place from July 10 to 15.
Anthony Vaccarello started making a habit of showing his men's collections abroad long before Covid. Beyond a small Parisian interlude in February 2019, where he presented both men's and women's wear, as well as a brief stop in the French capital, at the Bourse du Commerce last January, the designer has treated himself to a real world tour over the last five years, with New York in June 2018, a Malibu beach in Los Angeles the following year, Venice in July 2021 or a desert in Marrakech last summer.
