Saint Laurent Paris choses a female model for menswear campaign

Artisitic director of Saint Laurent Paris, Hedi Slimane, has chosen Dutch model Saskia de Brauw for his Spring menswear campaign.


The model chose a path less traveled, abandoning modeling at 16 to pursue studies in Art before coming back to the top at the age of 29. Her androgynous look has won over designers such as Givenchy, Eres, Paul Smith and most recently, Saint Laurent Paris.

Shot in Los Angeles in October, the campaign features the make-up-less Saskia de Brauw and focuses on the model’s androgyny – a favourite theme of Hedi Slimane. The collection will be available in stores from January 2013 in both the men’s and women’s section.
