Sacred Gold is set to open a 700 sq ft jewellery and piercing studio in London’s West End this March, Shaftesbury has announced.

The two-storey boutique at 40 Berwick Street will showcase the brand’s premium jewellery collection on the ground floor, with the basement offering an in-house piercing studio.

The brand said the space will showcase Europe’s largest selection of hand-made fine body jewellery from BVLA, the world’s leading manufacturer.

Commenting on the opening, Guy Saar from Sacred Gold said: “It has always been a dream of mine to bring our unique experience to jewellery and piercing lovers in the heart of Soho. Our aim is to introduce a new energy to the London piercing scene and redefine customer experience with our signature luxury approach and aesthetic.”

The store will join Berwick Street’s retail brands including Oliver Spencer, Sandqvist, Universal Works, Footpatrol and Bleach.

Samantha Bain-Mollison, head of retail at Shaftesbury said: “Sacred Gold is an exciting addition to Berwick Street and our growing Soho retail portfolio. Customer experience is key - we look for creative brands who offer something different to our visitors and Sacred Gold will be a unique draw to the area.”
