Parisian high-end womenswear label Roseanna adopted a two-step approach to opening its very first showcase in the French capital, taking its time in order to get the stepping stone of its retail expansion just right. The label's first store featuring its definitive retail concept is located in rue Froissart, in the Marais district, and had opened on a temporary basis at the end of 2016.

The now definitive version, designed with architect Franklin Azzi, sits alongside the Acne store, not far from fashion retailers like Merci and A.P.C., and showcases Roseanna's ready-to-wear and accessories collections.

The interior design theme is the same as the one adopted for the label's collections since its inception ten years ago: contrasting materials and textures underscored by forceful colours. Bright and mat colours contrast, fitted carpets cohabit with concrete, copper finishings clash with raw brick walls.

By setting up shop in a neighbourhood popular with premium labels, Roseanna is making its intentions clear, emphasising its originality to enhance its reputation. The label's first Parisian opening was made possible by the financial backing obtained in 2015 from French sovereign fund BPIFrance. Roseanna is currently available at 140 high-end retailers worldwide, and is keen to expand its international business, targeting Asia and the UK in particular.

The label, founded by Roxane Thiery and Anne-Fleur Broudehoux, is also intent on bolstering its management team, and has notably taken on board Aline Meynard (formerly with AMI and Balenciaga) as COO.
