Rock music and jewellery are an obvious natural fit for a collaboration. So The Rolling Stones’ fashion and lifestyle brand, RS No.9 Carnaby, and rock jeweller The Great Frog are launching a special tie-up from 8 April in celebration of the band’s 60th anniversary.

The pieces in the resulting collab are inspired by the original artwork from The Rolling Stones’ album Beggars Banquet, released in 1968 and include references from the album cover's graphics.

“This collaboration brings together two iconic rock ‘n’ roll brands and is made up of quality, hand-made, statement jewellery pieces that push boundaries and are guaranteed to add a standout moment to any look” their joint release says.

Items from the collaboration include the Beggars Banquet Defaced Skull Ring (£350), a skull design with engraved details from the original album cover; the Rolling Stones Tongue Signet Ring (£310) features a golden twist on the band’s tongue design; and a  Rolling Stones I.D Bracelet (£675), a chunky chain featuring engravings from the album cover, including a unique clasp mechanism with the tongue logo.

Each item is made from Hallmarked British 925 sterling silver and embellished with a solid 9ct yellow gold Tongue logo.

The Great Frog  spokesman Reino Lehtonen-Riley said: “The Great Frog and The Rolling Stones were born from the epicentre of London's first youth culture movement, Carnaby Street, and are entwined by the ground swell of the era-defining rock and roll movement of the 1960s.

“This collaboration is 60 years in the making, so we are incredibly proud to work with the biggest and best band of all time.”

David Boyne, Managing Director of music and fashion product merchandiser Bravado, which markets the RS No.9 Carnaby branding, added: “This exclusive collection is inspired by the Beggars Banquet album, which will appeal to generations of Rolling Stones fans and will be a special purchase in the band's 60th year.”
