Rohan adds London flagship in Covent Garden

Outdoor clothing and travel brand Rohan has opened a London flagship in St Martin’s Courtyard, off Mercer Street in Covent Garden.

The 3,875 sq ft space offers the brand’s full range of travel and outdoor gear as well as branded pieces from Ecco footwear, Life Systems accessories, and Eagle Creek luggage. In fact, the company said it’s the biggest Eagle Creek offer currently available in the UK.

The store covers two floors and and was designed by Rohan’s in-house team in conjunction with Future Display Systems.

The company’s managing director Scott Longstaff said the location “has a great atmosphere that makes it a wonderful place to shop and we look forward to becoming an established part of the area.”

And of course the other outdoor-focused retailers that already have stores in the area help to make it something of a destination for this product category. Nearby are stores for Barbour and Jack Wolfskin, while the Covent Garden and Seven Dials neighbourhoods generally are benefitting from the increased tourist footfall in London in the past 18 months.

The recent refurbishment of the Bill’s Restaurant in St Martins Courtyard should also help boost visitor traffic to the specific location.
