Roberto Cavalli unveils lifestyle collection with immersive online experience

A portico whose pediment is supported by Ionic columns overlooks a swimming pool and a luxuriant garden, a dining room decorated with striped marble in the Rationalist architecture style suddenly morphs into a discotheque, a huge mirror-panelled salon with French windows leads to a Versailles-style park, a loft opens out on a jungle landscape: welcome to the Cavalli Mansion, the stunning virtual residence dreamed up by the Italian luxury label where its fans can discover, via an immersive videogame-like experience, the Cavalli home decoration line.

The patio in Cavalli’s virtual mansion - Roberto Cavalli

Roberto Cavalli’s recently unveiled virtual residence has been developed with communications agency Out There and digital design hub Centounopercento. The Cavalli Mansion, as well as showcasing the label’s Home Collection products and the accessories designed by Creative Director Fausto Puglisi, is a window on the label’s entire design world, and also gives a foretaste of the Cavalli Tower in Dubai, the real estate project Roberto Cavalli is working on with Damac, whose inauguration is planned for 2026.

The Italian label has been owned since the end of 2019 by the investment firm of Emirati magnate Hussain Sajwani, CEO of real estate giant Damac Properties. Roberto Cavalli is now based in Milan and led by managing director Ennio Fontana, with Puglisi in charge of style.

The playful virtual journey through the Cavalli Mansion is characterised by extreme luxury and outrageous flamboyance, which users can enjoy by clicking on various objects within the house, as though in a treasure hunt. Palm trees take on a pinkish tinge, a room is plunged into a reddish glow. Elsewhere, the walls burst into flames, while exotic animals like monkeys, parrots and pink flamingos spark the rooms and objects into life.

Virtual visitors can also listen to the Cavalli playlist and have of course the opportunity, by clicking on the products, to view their description and to be redirected to the label’s e-shop, immersing themselves in a kaleidoscope of ambiances, from Brooklyn to Beverly Hills, Milan and Versailles.
