River Island is launching its first homeware range, divided into three key trends, this autumn. Titled RI Home, the collection will include soft furnishings, decor accessories and furniture, and storage options.

“The launch of our brand-new RI Home division heralds the beginning of an exciting chapter for us. Style doesn’t end at our clothes. Where we eat, the fragrance we wear and way we decorate our homes says as much about us as our favourite pair of jeans,” explained Dayna Sofair, head of homeware buying.

“With this in mind, we wanted to give our customer the chance to bring some of that signature River Island style and personality out of the wardrobe and into their homes,” she continued.

To support the launch, the British clothing brand has created three homeware edits to help customers curate and replicate the looks easily. Babydoll Rock & Roll will feature bold colours, touches of leopard and slogan designs to create a kitschy collection, while Electric Opulence will offer antique trinket boxes, soft faux fur rugs and velvety cushions for a sophisticated luxury feel. Finally, Nordic Nomad will take cues from Scandinavian design with a neutral colour palette and geometric influences.

The debut 160-piece homeware collection will launch in stores and online in October, with prices starting from £8 up to £275. Candles and home fragrances will cost from £5 to £32.
