Replay debuts at Pitti Uomo as it focuses on a buoyant wholesale market

Italian denim label Replay will be showing for the first time at Pitti Uomo next January, where it will show its Rebel & Heroes autumn/winter 2017/18 collection.

The label will show in the Sala della Scherma (the Fencing Room) in an area covering 250 sq m within the historic Florentine exhibition venue. Replay said its new collection is marked by a military-chic mood.

"For Replay, Florence is a key commercial location, home to as many as three mono-brand stores," said Matteo Sinigaglia, CEO of Fashion Box Ltd, owner of the Replay brand. "We decided to launch [the collection] within Pitti Uomo's rather institutional setting, owing to the event's increasingly international outlook and to the wholesale channel's resurgence for many foreign markets."
 
With the Rebel & Heroes collection, Replay is going back to its roots, with a blend of styles featuring biker, military and preppy influences, creating a mix that reflects the label's distinctive DNA.

Fashion Box was founded in 1981. Based in Asolo, northern Italy, it also owns the Replay&Sons and We Are Replay brands and has operations in over 50 countries, including all European markets.

Also available in the Middle East, Asia, Latin America and Africa, exports account for 87% of its revenue. Its wholesale distribution network serves 3,000 multi-brand stores, while the label operates 200 mono-brand shops.
