Reiss signs 'important' collaboration with McLaren Racing Formula 1 team

Premium British fashion brand Reiss has become the official travel wear partner for the McLaren Racing Formula 1 team.

And Reiss described the new multi-year partnership as and “important moment” for the brand as it “ventures into the world of Formula 1 on the back of a record-breaking financial year”. 

The team will be dressed in “meticulously designed Reiss products while embarking on their global travels throughout the season” with the collaboration reflecting both brands’ “laser-sharp focus on product innovation, engineered quality, and cutting-edge design”.

The McLaren Racing team will be wearing a selection of clothing from the new SS23 collection which features. 

Lindsey Eckhouse, Director, Licensing and Digital Products, McLaren Racing, said: “Reiss is a premium brand which understands the need for smart yet convenient apparel, especially for a team that travels throughout a global 23-race season.”

More and more upscale fashion labels are making links with sport and the combination of luxury cars and speed are just what they want to tap into, which makes the McLaren and Formula 1 combo the perfect fit for Reiss.

McLaren has been reaching out to premium labels in recent periods. In January, it extended its apparel relationship with premium sportswear brand Castore to continue providing teamwear and merchandise for its Formula 1 Team from this season, while extending its support to all McLaren’s physical race series from 2024. 

It will also provide team apparel and fanwear for the Arrow McLaren IndyCar Team, NEOM McLaren Extreme E Team and the NEOM McLaren Formula E Team from 2024.
