Radley opens new concept flagship in Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet

Published
Sep 21, 2022

Radley London is rolling out its new concept ‘Townhouse’ store, debuting with a flagship in Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet on 29 September. It also becomes the high-end accessories/fashion retailer’s largest UK store and is the “next step in an elevation journey that began in 2019”.

Radley

It describes the “new branded environment” as a “beautifully designed, elevated shopping space”. Created using responsibly sourced materials, the store design “brings elements of the refined leathers, branded hardware, and modern timeless style of the iconic Radley London handbags to a physical commerce space”.

Radley London’s Chief Product Officer, Jackie Hay, said: “With our new generation of ‘Townhouse’ stores, we’re celebrating both our brand heritage and what’s to come in the future.

“The design is inspired by our HQ in London’s Mayfair, overlooking Green Park, in a Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse – we have captured the same original features, and decorated our new stores in the same sumptuous shades of signature pink, gold and claret.

She added: “We want to welcome every visitor into a calming, feminine space where they can discover our latest designs surrounded by the scent of the finest leathers mingled with our Radley London rose-scented diffusers. Where possible, everything in-store down to fixtures and fittings has been responsibly sourced as part of our commitment to our ESG strategy.”

Head of Retail, Kevin Morris also said: “We know what a loyal customer base we have, especially at our current Cheshire Oaks outlet, so we jumped at the chance to open a larger, even more welcoming Radley London space.

“As we develop our retail strategy, we want our stores to give our customers the ultimate Radley London experience.”

The store will also sell a variety of additional accessories, from “dog-friendly, helpful handbag essentials” including diaries, compact mirrors and foldable totes, through to gifting for early Christmas shopping.
