Quay opens its first store in Orange County

The Australian eyewear brand chose Southern California as the location for its first store. The new space is located at Orange County’s Brea Mall.

 
Quay Australia is already sold throughout Australia, Europe and the Americas both online and at department stores such as Nordstrom, and now the brand has its first standalone shop. Earlier this month it opened its doors at the upscale Brea Mall in Brea, California.
 
The new store carries more than 150 styles and will offer weekly launches of new products. The store is outfitted with mirrors and slogans on the walls to encourage customers to take selfies and other photos for social media.

Quay was founded in Australia over a decade ago, but has developed a following in the United States and particularly in California thanks to its partnerships with celebrities and influencers. In July of this year, it launched the Quay x Kylie capsule collection in collaboration with Kylie Jenner. In March, it launched a collection with Jasmine Sanders to appeal to the Coachella crowd.
 
The brand sees California as one of its most important markets and already has its sights set on a second retail location at the Hollywood & Highland Center in Los Angeles.
