Unique Style Platform is the fashion trade fair’s new trend partner alongside Pantone, the firm behind the ‘Colour of the Year’.

The next edition of Pure London, taking place from 21-23 July at Olympia London, will deliver trend presentations on the Main Stage each day, with Pantone presenting its Pantoneview Colour Trend Forecast for SS20 and a preview of its AW20/21 predictions.

Meanwhile, Jane Kellock from Unique Style Platform will highlight the designers, brands, retailers, consumer attitudes and cultural drivers that will impact the fashion markets for the Spring/Summer 2020 season.

She said: “In response to a world in a state of flux, our SS20 Macro Trend Forecast explores the bigger picture developments across culture, lifestyle, art, technology and retail, offering insight into future consumer behaviours.

“During our presentations we will outline what impact our four macro trends - Honest, Limitless, Ritual and Brave - will have in terms of fashion, highlighting directions for styling, colour, fabric and texture, with an added focus on footwear & accessories.”

Dubbed ‘the Festival of Fashion’, Pure London said there will be further talks on future trends and consumer habits throughout the three days. Jay Paul, digital consultant from General Assembly will analyse trends and tactics in social media marketing, while Jacqueline Windsor, partner at PWC will outline the PWC Retail Report to present the latest research into consumer behaviours.

And sustainable stylist Lauren Engekle will review the sector’s new retail models in a presentation on Tuesday.

Pure London is expecting to see buyers from top UK and international retailers attend the upcoming show in July, which will showcase everything from womenswear and menswear to footwear, accessories and young fashion.
