In a world of fast-changing fashion, the new section will highlight technology and innovation as fundamental to the future of fashion manufacturing. New inventions taking centre stage will include wearable tech, innovative machinery and supply chain management software.

Matteo Perrone, event manager at Pure Origin said: “Pure Origin continues to evolve, and this season we are introducing a host of new sections to make the space easier to navigate and provide the relevant business solutions for the entire supply chain.

“2020 is the year of change and therefore we are strategically expanding into technology & innovation. It is vital to the future of fashion manufacturing, and visitors to this elevated section will discover some exciting new inventions that will change the way we produce and do business.”

The line-up of tech exhibitors includes Worldpay, a payments technology company; Moxtra,  which provides mobile collaboration tools; and Kornit Digital, a manufacturing company developing sustainable digital printing solutions.

At Pure Origin, Worldpay will showcase its contactless card payment innovations, Moxtra will sponsor the content & education programme, and Kornit will demonstrate its garment and textile printing tech.

Visitors will also discover Bttg, Embacollage, D-Color, Linea Fashion Snc, Thermore, Itl Group, Hqts Group, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), Centro Tessile Cotoniero, Faering Ltd, National Weaving, The Little Trend Book, and Lila Tekstil within Tech & Innovation.

The next edition of Pure Origin, hosted together with Pure London, will be held on 9-11 February at Olympia London.
